As we celebrated New Year's Eve with the Minnesota Moorlach's Hilary put forward and plan that can best be described as 'evil genius.' The kids were set on staying awake until mid-night to welcome the new year. During rest time on December 31st Hilary set all the clocks two hours forward. She's a crafty one... she included the clock in the car, the clock on the computer monitor.... Some were skeptical (ahem). We ate dinner and headed out to go ice skating where the clock displayed the correct time.
But when we returned home at 11:15pm (really 9:15pm) the kids were squealing with delight! "Only 45 more minutes to the new year! Better take a bath quick!" The diabolical Hilary poured them sparkling lemonade in fancy champagne glasses! The count down was on!
