Our family near and far made it home for this holiday despite the record snows that coincided with everyone's travel plans. Christmas came and went so quickly, as it often does, but we had a lovely holiday. Our family's Christmas Eve tradition has become a menu of 'kicked up bar food' and a tasty cocktail. This year we polished off 10 pounds of chicken wings and most of a bottle of pear vodka as we relished the opportunity to be together.
