John informs me there is an old truism among sailors that the two happiest days of a sailor's life are:
1) The day you buy your boat.
2) The day you sell your boat.
This week the fates collided and John got a wonderful deal on a small sailboat that is seaworthy, but in need of some TLC. And so just like that a new sailboat has taken up residence in our backyard. With help from the girls it has been christened 'The Dragonfly."
Ava in particular is very drawn to the boat and is a terrific first mate....
A new neighborhood game called 'Pirate' has sprung up around the new boat stretching the happiest day to two, maybe three.....
