Today was one of those heartbreakingly beautiful Spring days.... the days we long for in the depths of Winter. By luck, today was also the Department of Natural Resources Spring tree distribution. That's right, after 8 years in this house we have finally planted trees. Two of them! Thanks to the Department of Natural Resources we have two beautiful 10-12 ft. red sunset maples.
John worked and worked and worked in the yard today, planting the trees, tilling flower beds, planting herbs. Of course, he had a lot of help....
Aren't these two of the most beautiful kids you've ever seen? All gussied up for a neighborhood party.
I don't think either of the girls was inside to do more than grab a quick bite to eat all day. Ahhh.... and tomorrow promises more of the same. It's a good thing too! We've got flowers to plant!
