Her father's daughter

Nothing (and I do mean nothing) gets between John and the newspaper in the morning. A couple of years ago our basement flooded - the hot water heater malfunctioned, about six inches of water was standing in our basement. John went downstairs, saw the mess, called ServiceMaster and then sat down with the newspaper.

The last time Grandma Marilyn visited she showed Ava how to read the weather section of the newspaper. Now, every morning at breakfast Ava dives for the paper to read the weather. She's growing up so much!
