Sunday's dinner was bittersweet. It was our last (for awhile) with Meghan.... It's true. Last week Meghan was offered a job with Ned Lamont's campaign for Governor in Connecticut. And just like that she's making plans and heading East. It goes without saying that we are enormously proud. But our hearts are heavy as we contemplate the distance from here to there. Thursday morning John and Meghan will begin their journey East. We celebrate her bright future and push aside our sadness.... at least a little bit.
