While Grandma Marilyn was here to visit she was kind enough to stay with the little girls while John and I went out for our first ever (no joke) adult, dress up New Year's Eve. We went to a party at our friend's house, followed by the Raucous Before the Caucus at the World Food Prize building - a party for all the national media in town for the Iowa caucuses.
On the home front Ava and Amelia had a New Year's Eve party of their own - they made signs, had decorations, hats, noise makers and about 2 pounds of candy each. While John and I had a great night it is possible this party was more fun!
