Last night Ava had her school musical. It was so earnest and intentional.... The musical was about inventions - the lightbulb, the steam engine, the printing press, the tv, the computer.... I am pretty sure each student had an equal number of lines. There were 8 songs followed by a brief presentation. Ava was in the computer group (by far the cutest song and I'm not just saying that) playing the important role of "Computer Expert #3." Like her peers she was a tiny bit fidgety on stage, but delivered her lines with confidence and great enthusiasm.
She chose her own outfit and what would a computer expert wear but a long summer dress (on a 50 degree day) with her hair in a bun, anchored by a flower?
