After two days of celebrating Amelia's birthday we wrapped up our weekend by celebrating Easter. Planned for dinner was some ham, some party potatoes (naturally) and asparagus. Grandma Marilyn joined the family for Easter services, but then headed for home.
Here Orbit stands guard over his people as they watch some tv on the couch before church....
Papa and Grandma, Meghan and Lane joined us for dinner, which wrapped up early so the girls could get to the neighborhood Easter egg hunt. The adults scattered eggs around in front of a few houses while the kids held tight. You can sort of see in this picture what happens when we told the kids they could come hunt for eggs - a mini stampede if you will....
We stopped them long enough to snap this photo and they were off again!
Miss Amelia, who, quite honestly was most concerned with finding her share of the hidden eggs....
