Celebrating Amelia

On Friday our baby Boo turned six.  Six whole years that force of nature has been blowing through our lives.  Amelia is the youngest and sometimes this means to her that she has to work very hard to keep up.  We had two days of activities planned to celebrate Amelia and she's been counting down to this weekend since, oh, I don't know, about New Year's day!

The birthday girl and Grandma Jo!  Waiting for birthday dinner - her choice of spaghetti and meatballs with pineapple upside down cake for dessert.

With Meghan showing off one of her favorite gifts.  A panda towel with "cheetah" print and it's own tote from Justice!! Right in the six year old sweet spot!

The birthday girl's Mom and Grandma Marilyn having a good laugh....

The kitchen aftermath....

The next day we took a small group of friends to Sky Zone to do a little bit of jumping. A sweet crew of girls!

Blurry, bouncy, Amelia....

Ava all legs!

After Sky Zone and some cupcakes back at the house we sent the friends home and headed over to Papa and Grandma's for dinner.  They were kind enough to host and cook for us after a busy day.  The girls were kind of running on fumes after dance class and a lot of trampoline time.  As the evening was winding down Ava went to curl up in the chair and play on her iTouch.  Instead she was out cold.  Time to head home and bring this party to a close!

Amelia had a grand celebration that gives this sentimental mama a chance to reflect on how quickly she is growing and changing. To me she is still this little girl....
