We have been inspired by our sister in law Hilary to create a site to chronicle the lives our family. While this is very much a work in progress, we thought we'd get started with some photos this morning of our trip to the Downtown Farmer's Market and Des Moines Arts Festival.
Here's Ava (along with Mousie of course) at the Farmer's Market. Having helped select the basil she was in charge of carrying it. All morning Ava was on the hunt for a chocolate croissant which we unfortunately never found. However, she did talk us into a chocolate tart that was a close runner up!
Below is a photo of Ava and Amelia being entertained by the performance artist at the Arts Festival dressed as an exotic bird. A peacock maybe?
