Trimming the feathers

Amelia's hair is so light, fine and wispy she didn't have her first haircut until just last weekend when she was nearly 15 months old.  But her little feathers were looking sort of scraggley and uneven so we decided it was time for her first trim.

Amelia can be a little bit shy and reserved in unfamiliar situations, but she did pretty well in the 'during' stage of her transformation!

The nice stylist at the salon didn't even charge us for the haircut.  She told us they did bang trims for free and that's what this was... which is sort of true.  Honestly, we had a hard time gathering up enough of that wispy hair to collect the requisite lock of hair from the first haircut!
