Well it's been just under a week since Orbit joined our gang and he has been a surprisingly delightful addition. The shock of the adjustment for him is starting to fade away and his puppy personality is revealing itself. He has a very sweet temperament and is patient with the girls and the neighborhood kids, who adore him. He is a very cuddly puppy and is happiest when he is being held.
The housetraining thing is going... alright. I would estimate he does his business outside better than half the time. We have to get up with him once in the night to let him out, but he usually makes quick work of it in an effort to get back to the warm bed.
For a somewhat spontaneous decision, it has been a good one. We are all very charmed by Orbit and he seems to be pleased with us too.
Hanging out on the couch - Orbit's most favorite thing to do....
