Remember last week when I talked about John taking Ava and Amelia out for a fancy dinner while I worked late? Here's a picture he took with his cell phone camera of our twirly girls downtown in the pretty light.
It seems the Gods may be trying to smite me for boldly stating, "my kids have been so healthy this winter!" First Ava came down with a nasty head cold/fever last week and then today Amelia woke up shortly before 5:00am with a fever, wheezy breathing and a barky cough. Again John and I split the day so while I was at work John took Amelia to the pediatrician. It appears Amelia has a viral influenza and croup. Her husky little voice has taken on a new depth and she is pretty droopy. Nothing a little green cream can't make better.
