Oh how we love the Olympics. We're all staying up way too late almost every night watching sports we didn't even know we cared about. Tonight the girls are practicing their gymnastics - inspired by Gabby Douglas, an adopted Iowan.

John and I were able to get away to La Jolla for a few days, taking advantage of a work trip for me. While we were there we visited a couple of Southern California Wineries including the Falkner Winery where a nice bartender took this picture of us. So nice to have the time to reconnect, to actually finish some conversations and, of course, drink a little wine!
