It's the small things...

This weekend I washed, folded and put away all our laundry. This may not seem like much, but for me it was huge. I had let the laundry get away from me a bit the past couple of weeks. For example, I would wash most of it, fold it, but not get it put away - so we were rooting around in laundry baskets looking for clean socks. This small thing has left me feeling in a bit more command of the household. Oh, and it took most of the day Saturday, part of the day Sunday.

Last night for Sunday dinner John made this wonderful meal which will certainly be going into heavy rotation at our house. Papa Ray, Grandma Jo, Jay and Janae joined us while we all talked, speculated and wondered what Tuesday's election would bring.

I have notes on a combination of 3 different cheesecake recipes I used to make dessert at last week's Sunday dinner (how did that get by me?) that I will post soon.

Grandma Marilyn arrives today to help with the girls as we count down the last (less than) 48 hours to election day!
