We are absolutely loving having Meghan home, but I promise no one is loving it more than Ava and Amelia. This week she has some time off from the work she is doing and decided to make special lunch dates with the girls.
Yesterday was Ava's turn - she chose Centro - a favorite, fancy restaurant. Meghan sends this picture to show the happiest third grader ever....
Today was Amelia's turn and naturally Amelia has to go with the edgier choice - Zombie Burger, where she actually had a Zombie hot dog. This picture arrives from Meghan and my little girl looks so suddenly grown up. Both girls felt so special to have this kind of attention from their big sister.
Last night it snowed - big, sloppy, gloppy wet snow. The snow will be gone by this time tomorrow and this weekend it is supposed to be back in the 60's, but that didn't stop Ava and Jessica from racing outside to build a fort and throw some snow balls. What you can't see in this picture is that Ava is wearing boots that are one size too small for her feet and snow pants that show her ankles. Who's the best mom?!
