Ava took to calling the place we stayed 'the cabin' even though it really was more townhouse-ish. The decor was vaguely cabin-y, so we went with it. Immediately outside the cabin was a little rock path with a trickle of water, giving the kids the opportunity to practice their bouldering. Spanning the rock path was a little bridge that Amelia and Adam scaled at every opportunity.
Amelia looking cute in her sun hat....
Ava and Matt created a game on the rock path that had them calling 'bingo!' when they reached a certain rock at the top. Here's Ava, breaking from the game briefly to allow me to photograph her in some really pretty light.
Bingo with Matt...
Reading 'Junie B Jones, First Grader, Aloha-ha' before bed...
Amelia sportin' Hilary's swim cap and goggles - we were able to swim in the pool, run the trails and ride mountain bikes in training for the Minneapolis Tri in August.
Night-night girls - look at all those lovies!
