Ava is in the year round program at school, so as all the other kids in the neighborhood are wrapping up their school year this week Ava is taking her last intercession before her final month of 2nd grade. My parents are kind enough to watch after Ava much of the week, so of course they get the added bonus of Orbit visiting as well.
We've had a couple of gorgeous weather days this week and Ava spent much of the day helping Grandma Jo plant flowers. She was filthy, exhausted, freckeled and happy when I picked her up tonight.
My dad sent this photo of Ava in the sun, watering the plants on the deck...
And Orbit, stretched out in the sun like the catty little dog he is.... Orbit spent most of the day chasing after Daisy and Lily - my parents two collies who are 10 times his size.
