Seven years ago when we last traveled to Rehoboth Beach one morning we decided to thoroughly embarrass Meghan and Lane and rent a jitney bicycle. Meghan mentioned this to the girls and they both insisted we take another "crazy bike ride." So we piled everyone into a yellow jitney and tooled around Rehoboth Beach for awhile. I'll tell you, pedaling that bicycle is a lot of work!
A shuttle, called the Jolly Trolley, runs regularly between Rehoboth and Dewey Beaches. The Jolley Trolly route ran right by our house and Amelia really wanted to take a ride. On our last night at the beach we hopped aboard and took a ride over to the Rusty Rudder at Dewey Beach for some dinner. We got there on the early side and left as the scene began to shift from dinner to a party. And the girls just loved the trolley ride!
