It will come as no great shock that Ava was a prolific gatherer of sea shells during our visit to the beach. She found a little bread basket at the house that she carried to the beach each day and filled it with her beautiful treasures....
Then she came home and carefully washed and dried them....
I think we have at least 10 pounds of seashells in a shoebox that my parents shuttled back from the beach. At least we didn't have to try to figure out how to get them on an airplane! But what do we do with them now?
