We arrived home from vacation last night, but don't worry, there are still lots (and lots) of pictures for me to share from our trip.
We started out Monday morning with a visit to Custer State Park. We spent much of our time on the wildlife loop and within the first few miles we were visited by a heard of buffalos crossing right in front of us, in front of our car. And let me tell you, those were big buffalo! Slow moving, but they could have done some damage.
We made a stop at the Game Lodge....
Then, there were the donkey's (ok, really mules, but the girls loved yelling "DONKEY" ala Shrek along the way)....
Amelia did get very brave and eventually touch the mule....
And then they just came right up to the car!
We saw prairie dogs, antelope and deer as we cruised through the park.
