We are in the midst of an epic heat weave. Temps near 100 every day, it is just stifling. So naturally Ava has been asking and asking for me to make broccoli cheese soup for dinner. I bought the ingredients, but I kept putting it off. Last night the soup finally got made - and even though Ava liked it, she kind of busted my chops over my failure to make homemade bread bowls to serve it in....
Here Amelia catches some of the Twins game with her dad. She is wearing her flannel pajamas because "they're my very favorite mom...." Her Christmas mouse comes along for good measure.
